For the „ostrale“-art fair based in Dresden in an factory area that was a butchery at the beginning of the last century, I produced a large scaled, freestanding sculpture with 2,8 tons in weight and physical dimensions of about 180 cubic meters. In only ten days of intense gruelling work, I was able to finish this piece as well as some smaller works in a nearby gallery.
The most fun part of this process was cruising around with the mechanical digger, which resulted in endless giggles. On the following pages I am providing an extensive view of „behind the curtain“ of such production progress.
